Three posts for the same film, and still in Gone but not forgotten.

Nobody answered me when I asked but has anyone contacted a BG about this?

I'm not sure who the board guides are so I didn't, not sure about anyone else.

Well normally you are so quick to contact a BG, I thought you might have done so in this case too.

The BGs are listed at the bottom of each board. In this case "Freebies (no spend required)"

Off topic but might be of interest to those who go to Cineworld to see other films besides previews. From 13th June Cineworld are bringing in enforced Allocated Seating at all Cineworld Cinemas.

Many people have valid reasons why they do not want this policy.

If you are one of them please feel free to post on this Facebook and share it with other like minded individuals.

    Thanks

I remember when all cinemas had allocated seating - they'd ask "Front, middle or back?" then they all changed to sit where you want. Recently they have changed IMAX back to allocating seating which I completely agree with - if i'm going to pay that much for a ticket I want to choose where i'm sitting. I'm pretty sure the cinemas got sick of the massive lines of people waiting to get a good seat for the latest Harry Potter or Toy Story (both of which I queued up for) too.

I can see the pros and cons personally- when booking if there were diagrams for each screen/film combo then i've no problems with it- however on the rare occasions I visit the cinema I need a seat fairly near the bottom and must be next to an aisle- if there is no facility to look for this I wouldn't be happy. I'm sure the technology is there though by now!

Won't apply to free previews though am I correct in thinking?

I'm not sure about Cineworld (as i've never booked a ticket online), but the Odeon website has diagrams of the specific screen when you go through to book a ticket, left over from when they were all allocated seating. You can use the diagrams to choose your Premier seats now, or in the case of IMAX pick whichever seat you want.

They over book tickets for previews to avoid no shows, so I doubt they'd allocate seats. It would be a hell of a mess.
  • I have just released 2 Godzilla tickets for birmingham on sun+ as I'm stuck in traffic won't make it!! Hope someone can use them x
