Cinema Only Free Tickets Discussion thread

I find it really sad how often posts on this forum drive people over the edge. Very often I cant really understand why this is as on reading the subject matter involved I mostly find that there is nothing that offensive from my point of view.

It is all too easy sometimes to interpret a written response in a way that it was not intended.

It is annoying for those of us accessing the site in the hope of finding somethign informative only to become observers of people venting steam.:(

I for one do not believe that the majority of users want to provoke confrontation or that the moderators are biased in favour of anyone.

I would therefore like to ask all users who find something offensive to try to PM the person responsible or be the bigger person and simply try to ignore it.

We couldn't get tickets so my daughter didn't get to go, I imagine they were probably people queuing for ages and people getting turned away?

I've never been asked, but each cinema is different. which cinema will you be going to?

I've been asked once in the last six years or so and that was for the heavily oversubscribed Les Mis showing with the Mail on Sunday.
