Can a Board Guide please explain why quoia is continually allowed to post duplicates in the codes thread?

Recently he/she posted an alert telling people they had 30 minutes to get to a cinema. That was the THIRD time the code was listed if you count the huge thread where he/she posts all codes.

What is the point of collating all the codes if you then go on to post them several times as well?

    clutter clutter clutter

I assume it is to boost the post count and to gain thanks. No other reason for it.

Firstly IT WAS AGREED BY THE SUBSCRIBERS TO THE CODES ONLY thread ...

(Remember THERE WAS A POLL and they VOTED and the MAJORITY RESULT WAS ?)

... that A NEW RELEASE of TICKETS on an EXISTING CODE ....

WOULD BE POSTED on the Codes Only thread.

There WAS a NEW RELEASE of tickets late in the afternoon of the day of the screening, indeed I even received an email from SFF after 5pm telling me so....

... and I've had numerous thanks from members who have managed to obtain tickets from several of my "last minute" posts. Indeed, I received a PM a little earlier on the very subject after your tirade.

And regards my "HUGE THREAD"

NO it's a HUGE POST :rotfl: .... (sad you don't know the difference)

... when there are a dozen or more films on offer from three or four different companies at several cinema screenings on numerous dates available by different codes and URLs ....

... AND since it's creation, the number of DUPLICATE CODE posts on the thread (from all members but especially Newbies) has DRAMATICALLY FALLEN so the "clutter clutter clutter" from the very recent past has SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED

AND currently, my HUGE post/thread, it's about half the size of the one above it :rotfl:

By definition, the fact that IT'S A CODE SUMMARY of ALL the other posts in the thread, ALL CODES, whether initially posted by myself or another, MUST therefore appear AT LEAST TWICE and be A DUPLICATED reference, however it can be regularly edited & updated whilst not creating any alerts.

The fully clickable links summary allows members to check all the current codes in just a few seconds but this does not replace, AS VOTED FOR, informing people when a SIGNIFICANT number of venues have tickets available when previously there were none, even if it is with few minutes to spare.

Perhaps before questioning my reasons for making ANY post on MSE, you should explain yours.
Please, pray tell, what has your contribution to MSE been ?
You'll be needing a very large font if you intend to write them on the back of a postage stamp.

yeah I thought the heat was great, totally hilarious

    Agreed, saw HEAT last evening.

Sort of an "adult" Miss Congeniality

I can see why some people may not thoroughly enjoy it if they are "easily" offended because of the language but still worth seeing it if they can put that to the back of their minds.
Good performances from both Sandra and Melissa.
Not laughed so much at a comedy film for quite a long time

Can a board guide please explain why tpiftd has the nerve to complain about others, but then goes on to post something that is not free (as you need to buy other tickets) on the FREE cinema codes board

    pot. kettle. black

Also agree, providing you yourself are not thinking I'm anything more than a china teapot :)

For the record I was asked by MSE Andrea to post the information about which to subscribe to because MSE wouldn't endorse the sites and new people were asking about the sites.

Though why you feel the need to drag me into your petty little arguments is beyond me.

Just got this email for the heat

Unfortunately there has been a water leak at the Cineworld O2 which means we have to cancel the screening of \'The Heat\' tomorrow evening.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused but we are looking into rescheduling it soon.

    Best Wishes,

    Sky Rewards

Anyone heard anything from Sky about rescheduling? Isn't it released this week anyway?

    THE LONE RANGER

Two and a half hours of UTTER NONSENSE ......

... which just flew by :)

A good entertaining yarn that's very funny and WELL WORTH seeing.

The only film that immediately springs to mind that I've seen in the last 12 months that I'd have been happy to pay to see.
