Cineworld don't hold those competitions. But how are they unfair when it is up to people to vote?0
-
Cineworld held the competition for IRON MAN, all the cinemas that won apart from the o2 had there own facebook sites and where campaigning and geography had more followers people. The small cinemas did not have there own facebook sites
I repeat, Cineworld did not hold the competition for Iron Man 3 just as they didn't for the other films when they have screened the Regional Premières. They are paid to host the events in the winning venues. As for the winning locations having their own Facebooks, Didsbury won yet they only have a very new page and they have won in the past.0 -
I find that Sky using Cineworld is unfair to viewers in Norwich as Cineworld have no cinema in Norwich. It would be pointless of me to vote under these circumstances.
Just out of interest where do you vote for where a film on Sky is to be shown please?
I have never been told about a vote by Sky and wouldn't no where to go to vote?"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Sky don't just use Cineworld, in the past few months I've been to Cineworld, Odeon and Showcase.
For Iron Man 3 the preview was shared with people that voted in some competion to get a local premiere of the film and its just fortunate that Sly got some seats too.0 -

Vote for Boldon instead.
I think it's only now and again for huge movies and I'm sure it's done on Facebook0 -
Yeah Ben, but who's Facebook page is the vote on? Sky's main Facebook page? Cineworld's page? How do you find out about it?
To my knowledge I have never been told by Sky about a vote for where a film is to be held, but I am not a fan of theirs on Facebook as I had no reason to be a fan.
It's an unfair vote if SKY don't make a point of telling all of it's eligible customers about it though!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Yes, but who did hold it? Unless people who are eligible for tickets know there is a vote and where to find it it's unfair:)"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Murder. Kidnapping. Revenge. All in a day's work. When 19-year-old Adam (Jack O'Connell - Harry Brown, This Is England) agrees to do a day's driving for his mum's dodgy boyfriend Peter (Peter Mullan - Trainspotting, Tyrannosaur), it takes him on a journey in the company of ageing hit man Roy (Tim Roth - Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction). After stalking their prey through the forests of Northumberland they carry out the job, but there is one big problem: there's a witness (Talulah Riley - St. Trinian's) to their crime. But things take an unexpected turn as she outwits the hitmen and leads them on a dangerous chase across the North East. By the end of the day - if he lives that long - Adam will have learned a couple of valuable life lessons. Number one: never trust anyone. And number two: there is nothing remotely glamorous about being a killer.
