I wish that Virgin would actually change the movie short each time - if its 2.28 again i'll probably scream tonight.
Oh, don't remind me! I've seen that so many times now!
I've been to Picturehouse screenings and a few times they've showed us 20 mins of adverts! :mad:0 -
Hello,
I've just cancelled 2 tickets for Trance @ Kingston for 1830.
Can't make it for it..
Good luck0 -
It should be made clear that the movie starts at 6.30pm, there are no adverts or previews like you would expect when you pay to see a screening - ITS JUST THE MOVIE!!! So if you arrive at 6.30pm you are a total nuisance to those who arrived early and are trying to watch the film - you're spoiling it for them because you're blindly searching for a seat in the dark and getting in the way of the screen.
Plus its likely that turning up late means that you cannot get 2 seats together. Asking someone else to move up, once the movie has started, just so that you can have 2 seats together only ever works if you hand over £1000 cash to the person you want to move.;)
Always aim to get there at 6pm if the movie starts at 6.30pm, it prevents so many problems.
I have never arrived that early for a 6:30 showing and if I did doubt that the cinema would be ready. More than once arriving at the usual 6:15 or so have been told that the cinema isn't ready yet and to come back in 10 minutes.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

The film was great with a good storyline worth paying to see that's for sure.0 -
I quite enjoyed Trance but found it a bit confusing! I think I need to watch it again to work out exactly what was going on!0
-
Yeah, I got a bit lost somewhere in the middle! Still mulling it over but on the whole quite good. Thought the music was a bit much at times though.0

Thought Trance was really quite poor - Danny Boyle just can't string two good films in a row. It was obvious who did it - if not entirely what, and why. Add in naff Hitchcock-styled obsessions (to pubic hair??!!) and trying to end in a ridiculous FX-driven piece de resistance like Sunshine and you have a very average film I will not be recommending.0
