    a bit confused about this.
I've checked the websites that were listed, i understand that I have to register and then I'll receive emails containing codes that will allow me to watch selected movies at the cinema. However what cinemas are part of it as I have only odeon close to me.

The cinemas chosen vary but there are regular ones used in certain areas.
Take a look at the current previews listed on Codes only to see if your Odeon every comes up.

    Which one is it btw?

You have to arrive at 6 (or earlier if possible) to queue and the film will start at 6.30pm.

Printworks often comes up, Trafford Centre does from time to time.
Can you get to Showcase? That comes up occasionally.

Oldham is listed but not as often as Manchester Printworks.

No one website uses a particular cinema. The film distributors decide where a film will preview which is why each film isn't shown in each city or town.

If you go to post number two in codes only, I have listed all the sites you should register with. Make sure you are subscribed to the Codes Only thread so that you receive email alerts.

Make sure you are logged in when you check each alert so that you receive the next one. Tickets go very quickly as codes are posted on several sites.

It should be made clear that the movie starts at 6.30pm, there are no adverts or previews like you would expect when you pay to see a screening - ITS JUST THE MOVIE!!! So if you arrive at 6.30pm you are a total nuisance to those who arrived early and are trying to watch the film - you're spoiling it for them because you're blindly searching for a seat in the dark and getting in the way of the screen.
Plus its likely that turning up late means that you cannot get 2 seats together. Asking someone else to move up, once the movie has started, just so that you can have 2 seats together only ever works if you hand over £1000 cash to the person you want to move.;)
Always aim to get there at 6pm if the movie starts at 6.30pm, it prevents so many problems.

    Tenth Anniversary
They do sometimes show adverts and previews before hand... but I always try and get there before 6pm anyway

It's quite rare that I'm not at the front of the queue

For those who haven't been to a viewing before.. remember to take your own drinks and snacks - you might have to smuggle them into some cinemas

I find the only exceptions to what I said before are the Odeon, which sometimes shows previews, and Virgin which shows a movie short. I wish that Virgin would actually change the movie short each time - if its 2.28 again i'll probably scream tonight.
