I 100% agree. It's obvious people haven't read the rules and post all sorts of nonsense in the "code only" thread.

I'm also awfully tired of the "Oh, there are some tickets left at x cinema for x show". If people are interested in seeing a film, they'll check back on old code a day or two before the show to see if there are any returns.

So yes, can we please have a tick box that people have to click before they post in the "code only" threads to show they have read the rules.

And if possible, a button for people to press to indicate a post has broken the house rules.

I recently am guilty of doing just what you are complaining about - as a newbie and still 'finding my feet' I did not know that this was the situation and dithered about where to post - probably like so many others out there I failed to read all the 'rules' when joining. Your post and those of like minded members has brought this matter to my attention and I will report such instances through the codes only section in future.

I would however like to add a comment of my own though, which is that the post regardless of where, was placed in the hope that it would be helpful to other members and not to cause offence - personally I am grateful for posts advising of more available tickets wherever they may be lodged and cant believe that I am the only one who would feel that way.

Since joining I have noticed that all too often the discussion thread is being used to moan about the comments/actions of others - surely this is not what the site is intended for either?

Shame that those of us whose frustration and lack of patience gets the better of them, do not use their time more constructively and simply send the member who has posted incorrectly a little helpful nudge in the right direction, surely this would take the same amount of effort as posting negative comments whether targeted or generalised.

Slightly off topic but I will post it here.

Anyone planning/likely to be going to a PICTUREHOUSE cinema on a MONDAY in MARCH or APRIL ?

Fancy a FREE ticket ? Or rather a free magazine and possible a few pence off the price of your ticket ?

You need the latest SFX magazine - SPECIAL EDITION - The A-Z of SCI-FI MOVIES

It's £7.99 (maybe cheaper if you've got or can get a coupon for WHSmith) but it has a ticket worth up to £8.50 inside

PictureHouse cinemas only on a Monday in March/April (excluding Bank Holidays)

This is what you are looking for

Woo! Tickets for The Paperboy finally. I should stop spending every day checking film codes and just wait till a couple of days before the film is on, would save myself so much time :)

I'm not sure if I'm on the right link. Did you have to enter your credit card details? Seems a strange thing to do to get free tickets.

I'm having issues with this too. My closest Cineworld is Bolton, and it is on the list of participating cinemas, but when I click on the 'Find out more' tab there is no 'Showtimes' only 'Where is this film showing' and 'Explore news about this film'.
