So I took the plunge today after my friend saying they couldn't make Song for Marion showing tonight and decided to go alone! Enjoyed the film and happy to report that I wasn't the only one sitting on my own! :j
Yay, I saw that on my own tonight too as friend dropped out at the last minute. Kinda nice seeing a film on your own and not having to worry if a friend sees you welling up (just a little bit) :P0 -

Watched Song for Marion with Virgin last week. They kept the half of the ticket with my name and barcode, and asked for ID.0 -

I've been asked for ID at Virgin screenings in Norwich before. If ID didn't match the ticket then those people had to stand to one side and were only allowed in after others who did have matching ID.0 -

My tickets always get taken, but never asked for ID. Makes sense, but not always fair for couples. The TV bill for example is in my name, but if my partner goes without me she wouldn't have the ID to match.0 -
Looks like MoneyScrimpingNewbie didn't do a search or he would have come across post 3 which is the original posting of that code, from the 18th jan.0

I was the OP but when I checked this post all venues except one had tickets, so it was a valid post this time round which is why I added the direct link.0 -
