Tickets for Manchester were all gone before 9am. I was going to keep checking until the morning of the film to see if any are returned; which as we know is a usual thing for other movies, and I have gotten tickets hours before a screening in the past. But if Disney are notorious for not relisting returned tickets, I won't bother
I would never put you off from trying for returns but they are very few and far between, probably because they don't make it obvious how to return tickets.
The code had been posted long before you tried at 9am, I'm afraid.
It will be interesting to see how many towns and cities have small attendance figures for this one!
Good luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.0 -
Although Tinkerbell showed as 'full' after I'd got mine the cinema was approx half empty. The week before same cinema, same screen, Life of Pi & people were turned away because it was too full yet everyone had tickets.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

The first screening of Tinker Bell in Liverpool was fairly well attended albeit in a smaller Odeon.
The second contained 5 people from what I was told. This was in the bigger of the two Liverpool Odeon but wasn't shown in a big screen.
Even though it was shown in the run up to Christmas, this is an extremely poor attendance. Not all ticket holders can have been delayed at the last minute!
Pi, on the other hand has played to sell out preview crowds at most of it's screenings. The two can't really be compared.0 -
But what I meant was how to they know it's 'full' - must have been at least 50 empty seats at Tinkerbell I don't think that many people didn't make it for whatever reason.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

But you can't compare the two.
Life of Pi was heavily promoted and appeals to a larger demographic.
Tinker Bell was released 2 years ago in USA and has been available on DVD for sometime there. It is aimed at young girls. It will never attract the same sized audiences that Pi will.
Even as a preview, it wasn't expected to play to the same sized audiences that Pi was.0 -
I didn't mean that, it was showing as FULL when it obviously wasn't2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

My cinemas was not even half full for Tinkerbell but was showing as full. It is so disappointing that all those seats go to waste because people don't show up or the ticketing system is set up badly.0 -

Full could mean that Sky will only pay for say 100 seats per cinema, they don't know how big a cinema will be allocated by Odeon/Vue on the day as the cinema will put it where they have a space on the day:)"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138
