Just a tip, but I find I do much better with emailing for samples when I give a reason behind it (e.g. 'I've got a birthday coming up and I want to try new products', or 'I'm looking to completely overhaul my skincare routine'). Obviously, don't lie or they will clearly see you're not a genuine customer. The more details you give, the more interested you seem, so they're more inclined to give you a sample.

i should have made up an occasion or something

No, mine were sent to me by the company after a complaint, but the facebook offer is still going on their page as far as I know - that's for a 30p coupon
