Transferring half of balance to a 0% card do i still have to pay the statement ?

I going to transfer half of a balance from my exsisting CC to a 0% CC.
The statment for the exsisting CC is due tpo be paid tomorrow, if i did transfer today would i still have to pay anything off the original one this month ?

It often takes 5 days or so for a transfer to go through, sometimes up to 2 weeks. Yes you need to make at least the minimum payment and hope that its in time for it to be allocated to your account by tomorrow.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Thanks Tixy. I went an payed it today. Am i right in thinking that if ive transferred half of the balance and payed the minimum payment i wont be charged as much interest on my next statement ?

You will be charged almost as much interest as the transfer wont come out the statement till after this one is printed
You wont need to make a minimum payment next month though as your transfer will cover that
