Any help appreciated

Well after receiving many phone calls about ppi claims I thought I better look back. I have found a statement for a loan my husband and i have with Nationwide start date 1/11/05 and it says insurance premium £4104.48. Now I can not believe we would have agreed to this (but you never know) I have been reading bits on here but still unsure what to do next, whether i can do anything. Also the loan was in my maden name, my husband still has a loan ongoing with nationwide so i think we have rejuggled this loan recently.

Hope all above makes sense and someone can help, or are one of these companies who phone the best way to go??

Off to check other credit cards too now
Many thanks

Steer clear of a company, you do the job and they take a % of any redress.
You will get all the help you need on this site for free.

Look here for reasons for mis sell.
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance#step2

If any/all apply to you, then put a claim in.
The one that is in your maiden name,on the form put this info.

You only need reasons for mis sell and the account numbers,on the link i gave you will find the questionnaire to fill in.

Walk to the post office and post it off.....that is all that will happen with a claims co,but they will charge more than the price of a stamp!!!.

If both loans were mis sold to you, then claim mis sell for both.

How do I find out the policy number for payment protection, would they give this over the phone? I have an account number but later on in the questionnaire it says this will be different.

    Sorry so many questions

Hi keanfl, The PPI policy number would have been on the Policy booklet or terms and conditions document, which you may not be in possession of now but don't worry just give them the loan account number and they should be able to deal with it using that ;)
