PPI when Self-Employed

I have recently come across a couple of loans for which I paid PPI whilst I was self-employed. Should I be able to claim the PPI back due to being self-employed, if so do I approach reclaiming in any particular way?

Many thanks in advance for any help

Reclaiming is the same for cc or loans, you have the reasons you were mis sold and put a claim in.
Look here for reasons for mis sell

If any/all apply to you then put a claim in,self employment can be a reason but look for all that may have affected you.

Should I be able to claim the PPI back due to being self-employed,

Some PPI plans do not cover the self employed. Some do. If you are going to complain on that basis then you should check to see if they cover self employed or not. No point putting a complaint in on that basis if they do cover you.

However, on another basis, you could use single premium PPI added to loan and charged interest.
