try to do it yourself you could save a hell of a lot of money, these companys take a lot off you. we too have just got the ball rolling with our mortgage ppi,we dont know if it will be successful but its worth a try. our complaint is that we were both working and had good sick pay cover with firms plus i was suffering with a ongoing medical complaint which would affect any claim i took out.we were also under the impression that the mortgage would be in jeopody if we didnt take it out. i rang up cheltenham and gloucester a couple of weeks ago and they lodged a complaint for me and sent some forms out. they have said up to eight weeks for a answer but i know i will be lucky if its only that long. but hey nothing ventured nothing gained0

What you mean is can you make a complaint about an MPPI sold in 2005? Yes, you can make a complaint if you have reasons to complain.i cant find anything on the site specifically for MPPI!
The PPI issue hasnt affected MPPI as much. It still has a few mis-sales but nothing like loan/credit card.
If you had 6 months full pay then there is a little overlap but not a complete overlap. It also depends on the initial deferment period. i.e. if its 3 months then a 3 month overlap is not great. Its mainly the 6 months full pay, 6 months half pay that are easy to get classed as mis-sale. Just 6 months is tougher as the policy would still pay out, it would just start later.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
