Egg ppi claim

Hi, I was hoping to send a letter of complaint to egg for misselling ppi on both a credit card and a loan which were both settled in march 2006, almost 6 years ago.

I'm concerned however from reading some posts from other members that I may be wasting my time as egg were taken over by barclays last year and that any accounts pre barclays takeover have sort of been "dumped"?

Would this be true?

I do have the account numbers?

Hi there

If they have been taken over, then I understand they will have the responsibility of investigating EGG complaints as well, so with your reasons and account numbers do give it a go.

Does anyone know if I address the complaint letters to the Egg address on the list of bank addresses available on this forum or do I send the letters to Barclays?

Thanks Amersall, so address it to Barclays then advise in the opening sentence that this is an Egg account and quote the account number?

Sorry!! if the accounts are closed,you need to go to Egg,your account will not have been passed over.
Put the complaints in and see what response you get.

Today's a big day! Finally got my letters done and am sending them all out next day recorded delivery (including the first plus letter that you kindly helped Miss Dee and myself with yesterday)...fingers crossed :eek:
