Hi, I have a 6 month tenancy agreement which I am 3 months into. We have decided to move back to my partners parents to save for a deposit on a mortgage. I agree JJlandlord, I was just looking for comparison to see that it wasn't me being off hand. I am still convinced I am right but also for the sake of the amount of potential "aggro" it may not be worth it. I'll see what the solicitor says.
What he (the LL) kept saying and pointing out was that on the first page and in other parts of the agreement it says "fixed term of 6 months"...."this agreement shall run for 6 months" but I seen the clause I quoted earlier as a contradiction to this, and gives an opportunity to terminate that 6 month term early. But this could be a never ending circle.
