I'm going to have soffits/fascias replaced when weather improves a bit.
However it an old 1900's house & I would like to also have if possible...not sure how to describe this....'ends of roof 'rafters?' come out of bottom of fascias.....not sure if I'm making myself clear here.
I want to have rosewood upvc soffits/fascias. Does such a thing exist like imitations of roof rafters or similar to inject a bit of character up there please?? Sorry to be so vague on this.

No No No be very very careful with this, Upvc if not done right will turn your roof into a rotting mess.
Better to have the existing Wood stripped, repaired and painted (It'll work out cheaper than new Upvc over 10 years)
If you go for Upvc, don't let Anglian anywhere near your home, they leave a dangerous mess behind and damage your roof too. Scumbags. (I have the photos to prove it!)My Mind wanders, if found please return.0 -
Thanks - I'm likely going to use the co that supplied/fitted my windows/doors as whenever I've had any issue, they've been straight round to rectify. I got to say the have been very good. I'm going to go for UPVC as I want the reassurance of no maintenace - hopefully. Nevertheless I feel sure that the 'extra bits' must be available, but no idea where.0

hi, my name is lee and i own flow-rite roofline services who specialize in this this kind of work... there are modern fascias and soffits available in a range of colors styles and more importantly period styles which is great news for you however they are more expensive as they are not commonly stocked, however they deliver a world of character in keeping with your property. If you posted a pic....even from the ground i could advise you where to find suitable materials and advise you of cost for you to be more price aware when getting quotes. PS i am not in anyway shape or form attempting to sell you products or services just willing to offer a hand0
