Samsung Galaxy S 3G problems

My girlfriend has a Samsung Galaxy S and has been working fine. She took the sim card out to put another sim in (a Lycamobile one) to call her family. When she put the T-Mobile sim back in she has now got problems with using the internet via 3G.
I have had a look at it and it works over a wi-fi connection and it also makes telephone calls but as soon as she uses the internet via 3G she get a message No network connection

Cannot connect to Internet.
Please check your connection settings and try again

I have no idea what has happened or what I am looking for so can anyone help me please :)

Thanking you all in advance

i might be the "APN" (Access Point Name) it's the info that tells the Mobile what internet network to connect to for data.
When you switched sim cards it might have automatically switched from yoyur old APN to the one for the new network.

On the phone press "Menu" then "Settings" then go to "Wireless and networks"
    Look for "Mobile Networks"
make sure "Data Enabled" is ticked and "Data Roaming" and "National Data Roaming" are NOT ticked.

Press "Access Point Names" and see what is listed.
you may see 2 or more entries for "T-Mobile" and "Lycamobile"
Make sure one of the "T-Mobile" entries is selected.

Press "Home" now see if you can connect to the internet.

If all else fails or you don't have a "T-Mobile" APN use the t-mobile site to send the correct details:
    http://support.t-mobile.co.uk/help-and-support/index?page=home&cat=SOFTWAREDOWNLOADS&pcateg=HELPANDADVICE

See if that fixes the problem..

I havent got Data Enabled on this phone but I noticed it worked via 3G when Data Roaming and Use Packet data was ticked. I know they said they would incur charges but she gets unlimited internet usage so is it alright to keep these selected?
I went to the T-Mobile site and got the internet settings sent to the phone but that didn't seem to fix it.
I'll see what happens and maybe I'll just get her to go to Carphone Warehouse and get them to sort it!!!

Data roaming will only charge when you're abroad.

Thank you all for your help on this, will pass the messages on to my girlfriend. The data roaming being turned off seems to be the problem here but will do everything everyone else says too just to make sure it all works!!!
