We've stayed in a couple of Parkdean camps and I was really impressed. The caravans were top class. I can't comment on pools/entertainment as we didn't use that.0

My Mrs works on Trecco Bay, Porthcawl, South wales, a Parkdean site probably the largest. My parents had a caravan on this site for 30 years.
The early part of the season is generally Sun deals. Later on an 8 berth caravan can cost as much as £500 per week in peak season. There are also private hires which are a bit cheaper. Many of the caravans will have gas central heating. All will have showers and a gas fire.
On the site there are amusement arcades, heated swimming pool, Costcutter shop, chip shop, pizza parlour, gift shop, restaurants, crazy golf, bowling alley. There is entertainment both for adults and children once the season is up and running.
If you have any intention of coming to Wales and want specific info I'll happily find out for you.
Also bear in mind this part of Wales has excellent beaches and stunning scenery. As surely as night follows day capitalism will come crumbling down. On a mission to secure a just and ethical society.0 -

we go to parkdean sites all the time......entertainment good, pools on site, and children are happy! We've always found the caravans spotless and have had no complaints. We went to a haven in oct which cost more, and to be truthful the entertainment was nowhere near as good, and it felt more "branded" than parkdean.Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -
We always go for Parkdean if we can, they are much better maintained and cleaner than Haven, all caravans have been really nice. Entertainment is good, pools also good. Our favourite is Ruda.
Only problem last year was that everyone else has found out how good they are too! We went in main school summer holidays last year to Sandford and it was sooo busy!0
