Error "this is not the optimum resolution"??

Has anyone come across this problem. Running Office 2007 on Windows 7. Up until 2 days ago everything was fine but then whenever I tried to open any office file I got a message saying "Microsoft Office 2010 cannot open this file" and giving me the option to buy said programme.,

Obviously free trial version installed as new pc I found it sitting in my programmes and deleted it.
However, ever since then, whenever I open an Office 2007 file the document comes up absolutely huge with a message saying "this is not the optimum resolution". I can, using a lot of key strokes, get it back to the optimum resolution and I then click "apply" and "save changes". I can then work on the file as normal. However, as soon as I save it and go to another file the same message appears and the resolution has again gone back to the bottom of the scale. The resolution also reverts in the file just saved.

Any suggestions how to fix? Thanks

Firstly, how are you opening the files now, if you haven't converted the trial to full version?

Is the screen resolution correct elsewhere (e.g. when looking at this site) and only wrong when using Office, or does the same problem happen all the time no matter what you're doing?
How do I add a signature?

Hi, solved the problem under compatibility mode in Word changed it to "run this program in windows 7" and all seems fine.

    Thanks for the help
