What do my Uni points equate too?

Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to withdraw from my uni course after the first year. I passed the first year and got 160 points at Level 1. I also have 45 points from OU.
I am now thinking about the future and how these points stand me for future courses. OU no longer want me due to Bankruptcy but wanted to use these points to get a degree in a health related course. Am i right in thinking its 240points for a degree??? Can anyone shed any light on my position, many thanks Paul.

Why can you not study at the OU due to bankruptcy?
A full BSc/BA is usually 360 points (studying 120 a year on a FT course), a Foundation Degree has 240 points.
But also for a FD I think you need at least 120 points at level 2 as a FD is the equivalent of 2 years of full time study at degree level. To top up a FD to a full degree you need 120 points at level 3.

I'm puzzled about your bankruptcy comment as well - can you explain further?0

...i will explain further, in 2010 a applied to a bricks and mortar uni, thinking i had been turned down (as i heard nothing) I thought i had been turned down, however at the last minute i found out i was successful. By this time i had applied to the OU for another course, i received 3 books and the introductory pack, as i was attending a bricks and mortar uni now i couldn't do both however OU charged £360 for the pleasure. During my BR i included them as a creditor. Hope this clarifies things.0
