we are going to see a house that we really like but on the estate agents blurb it says that ' the house has suffered some settlement which we believe from the vendors is long standing and hasn't moved for many years and this is reflected in the very realistic asking price' i've noticed that this house has been on the market at least since nov 2004 does anyone know how to guage the state of the settlement without spending hundreds of pounds on a survey
