where have club accounts gone

I am member of small private boat club we have a emergency fund which up to 2011 was in bank club account we have been informed this type of account is closed and they have transferred our fund to a 0.1% currant account. we would like a savings option what pays better and would like to use the clubs name instead of a members name. Anybody help out.:(

pays 1.25% on balances over £500. Not brilliant but much better than what you'll get on a "business" current account.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

HSBC offers a community a/c, don't know what rates are but it is specifically for clubs/societies.I am employed as a manager in a financial services institution. My views are entirely my own.0
