All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

If someone got the car's registration number the police will look to charge with failing to stop (unless it's an ignorant teenager - they are seemingly exempt from following any laws).
If the police aren't able to trace the vehicle involved, the MIB may be able to help with a claim.0 -
Only if either the car or the driver has been identified
Neither im affraid. my daughter was hit by a car in November on an evening, all she remembers it was a car with loud exhaust, this was reported to police who came to see her 1 week later. She suffered a cracked bone in her arm. Police not been back to see us so im thinking they have not found the driver even though this was in the local paperAll the big powers they've silenced me. The earth does not belong to us.

So sorry to hear that, hope she's better soon.
Hope the police have obtained CCTV records in the area to try and identify the vehicle involved. Sometimes they don't think of these things themselves and have to be "reminded"0 -

Ignore this.
You can use the MIB to claim for injury/treatment/loss of earnings etc. when a hit and run driver was the cause, irrespective of the culprit being identified.
You have 3 years to make a claim (more if a child was injured)0 -
I stand corrected, Quentin is correct and personal injuries can be claimed for even if neither the car nor driver has been identified, the requirement to identify either driver or vehicle only applies to claims for damage to property, not injuries.
