Need to remove and then reinsert a upv sash window

Options
Hi, I'm helping a friend move and he will need to remove his downstairs upv sash window for some of the furniture to be removed.

I know how to remove and reinsert a wooden UPV window.

Does anyone have any tips.

I have some photos of the window if required

Thanks

What kind of fixings have they used? If you open one of the sashes look for the fixings. Pics would be good.

I've only ever removed one and it was a beatch.

That was 10 years ago, maybe that window will be easy?

    Good luck.
  • Best of luck, might be easier taking the front or back door off it's hinges if that's an option
