For the last few weeks I have receievd an e mail EVERYDAY from "Fifth Third Bank"
It provides a link (which I never click on!) asking to confirm my details. I know its spam/junk and yet my filter is not stopping it. Can I block e mails from a specific sender?
Thanks in advance

do you receive your email online, or is it downloaded into an email client like Outlook? If it's the latter, what spam filter are you using?
You should be able to block it, but a little more information is required0 -

sounds like you need to tweak your spam filter a touch.
what do you use ?0 -
It comes into Outlook. My husband set up the filter so not sure what we have running. It seems to be a good filter as when I do "send & receive" quite often e mails pop up for a split second in my inbox then go again so I can see it's filtering out most.
At the end of all my mails it says.....

Does this help? If not I will ask him to have a look. When I asked him the other day he said he didn't know what to do to stop them. If the above info is not enough I'll find out tonight from him what we have running and post back with that info and for more help!MTC NMP Membership #62 - made it back to size 12 after my children & I'm staying here!0 -
You could try Thunderbird - its very similar in functionality to Outlook Express , but has a better ( trainable ) spam filter. It sounds like yours needs some more training.0

There's a number of spam software you can get that will check for key words that are usually spam. However in outlook it's more difficult as spammers use different email addresses (fake ones) to send each email.0
