Regulation 14 of the DSRs says (amongst other things)...

In other words, the seller is not allowed to charge for the return when cancelling under DSRs if the goods are faulty.

I.e. when the goods are faulty, either DSRs or SoGA can be used to the same effect in this context.

I didn't realise this was part of DSRs. In light of this I agree with what has already been said by others.

Just to let you know - had a phone call from the manager yesterday to tell me that they have seen the photos, are arranging for a collection of the sofas, and I will be fully reimbursed including delivery costs. I am now waiting for the delivery company to call. Yes, I asked for this to be confirmed by email, which is now in my inbox!

Hopefully I'll have my money back within the 30 days (17th February!)

    AAARRRGGGHHHH!

    See the following email:

    Dear Ms. *****,

We can confirm we have requested our delivery company to call you and
    arrange a collection.

Just to confirm you will need to arrange to wrap the goods to protect
during transit as the delivery company will not collect unwrapped
goods. Upon receipt at our warehouse we will arrange an inspection to
confirm there is not any further damage to the goods from what you
have reported. We will then issue a refund of your delivery monies and
confirm to KGB the goods have been returned.

Please contact us again if you have any further queries.

    Kind regard
    Karina

FYI - the delivery company delivered the sofas without any packaging (unpacking it from their lorry). Do I therefore HAVE to re-wrap 4 HUGE sofas??!! They KNOW they were delivered without packaging!

I've certainly heeded that advice, crei! TBH, I didn't think much of their website.
