Thats royal mail ! Was it recorded/special delivery?
I think Royal Mail deserve there on forum ... Anyone else agree0 -
This has been happening for years and I mean a good few years.
If I want someone to get a letter in the part of London I live in the next day I either send post if from work in the morning, if I'm working outside London, or SW1. Recorded delivery makes no difference to the time period as it's the same as first/second class mail but Special Delivery does.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)0 -
The 200 miles adds what? 4 hours drive to the process? Other than that it will go through exactly the same process if you send it to a next door neighbour or 500 miles away.
I assume it was a V day card (was about to ask why your posting something to your Dizzy Husband in the first place) - unfortunately cards are much more likely to go missing in the post than other things due to the likelihood of them containing money. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Royal Mail do have a sense of humour though - 6 months after changing my postcode their web-site STILL does not recognise my new one, even though plenty of other companies have already caught on. I e-mailed them about it, but haven't even had a response - oh well, no change there...0
