Craghoppers: Product review

As a hiker, I've always been a fan of Craghoppers products.

The time having come to replace my old trousers, I ordered several pairs online. To my amazement, there was a difference of several inches between each pair, and none were of the stated size.

The apparently random nature of the sizing (it's now all made in China, apparently), coupled with swinging returns fees, means that I won't risk buying online anymore.

Such a shame to see a good brand brought low.

I've noticed too that their trouser sizes seem a bit varied! All their trousers use the same size chart on the website, yet some seem to run smaller! Definitely a brand to try on in a shop before purchasing online.

I tried some on in a sports shop a while back and they were a really strange size. Loose at the waist and flappy around the legs like 70s flares!
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Peace, love and labradors!

I've never come across variable sizing, but several outdoor brands aren't as good quality as they used to be, Karrimor being another prime example.

Karrimor is just a name now owned by Sports Direct, that's why the quality has plummeted

Rab are a really good brand if your willing to pay for it. If not I'd also recommend Berghaus.
