Out of date butter

Thank you for your replies. I will keep it then. I remember keeping yoghurt and it going off after a few days so I assumed I should not use butter since it is dairy too.Pink is so not my colour :undecided0

I've got some about 6 months out of date. Mind you it has been in the freezer for most of the time.0

If you aren't using much butter, why not cut in half, clingfilm and put half in the freezer ?0
