    Double click the DD56143.exe file
    Click 'Setup' button
A dos window should open and say:

Dell Computer Corporation Self-Extracting Diskette Set
You will need 2 formatted diskette(s) to continue.
Press Enter to continue or Ctrl-C to exit.

Insert first floppy disc and press enter.
Insert second floppy disc when prompted and press enter.
Now you have your VGA Driver setup floppies.

Insert floppy disc 1 and navigate to a:\setup and click

Follow instructions and swap discs when prompted.
Re-boot after install and you should have more colour / screen resolution options when you go to desktop settings.

I'm clicking download file and it gives me the options of run from current location or save to disk. When I click save to disk it goes to C drive.

I am soooo sorry. I just can't figure it out. Any help greatly appriated.

Ok, you need to find the file on the C: drive, use search or download it again, but note where it is saving to. Then follow the instructions given by urbanite.

I've had a bit of success (only a bit). I managed to save the dell info to 2 disks. I followed the above instructions to load it on to my computer, but it won't do it. It freezes when I click the instruction that I have the disks. Is there anything I can do or is my computer just not capable of having more colours (although windows has fab colours it's just internet and pictures).
    Thanks
