Fensa advice needed please!

I'm having a old side turned into a little utility and the builders that are doing it are installing a conservatory type structure over the top of it.

I've just learnt about FENSA. I don't know if the builders are FENSA registered but after reading some other posts it sounds like this structure should be FENSA accredited.

If it isnt is this a problem when you come to selling your property?

Our non-FENSA registered builders put new windows in our extension (and another room which didn't have any other building work). We were having the extension signed off by building regs anyway so we asked the inspector if he could include the windows in his inspection, which he agreed to do at no extra cost. If your building work is being inspected anyway, it's worth asking. If building regs have signed it off, you don't need FENSA registration.

FENSA is only for the fitting of doors and windows - nothing else.

Also, it is only for the fitting of doors and windows and not any other work in forming or widening the wall opening
