Are you in england or wales?
When did your tenancy start? When does the fixed period end?
Did you receive any letter with the S21 notice or just the notice itself? What are the dates on the notice?
The glib answer to what you should do is pay your rent. Why are you short?
The less glib answer is that assuming the notice to get you to leave is valid (which we will investigate) then you will have to move on soon enough, but if you are at danger of homelessness you can get help from Shelter (freephone advice line run by an excellent charity) and ultimately the council, although I suggest you speak to Shelter first so you know how best to approach the council.0 -
Pay the rent and stay put. A Section 21 is just a notice that the LL will start eviction proceedings through the court on that date if you don't leave. The LL can't turn up and ask you to leave, nor change the locks, nor be sitting on your sofa when you get home.
It just means that on 7/8th February, if you're still there, they'll apply to the courts for a date when you must leave. And even then, if you don't, they have to send the bailiffs in.0 -

Please answer the questions in full. It is very hard to help without a full understanding.
