Window board fitting

I did create a thread a long time ago and it was extremely helpful which basically told me how to attach wooden window boards. I would like to get the finer details now if that's possible, preferably from someone who has fitted these before.
Any boards I have seen in houses have bevelled ends to they are rounded at the front and sides. Will a local wood merchant cut them like this for me as I'm sure I will need very specific lengths to board and don't like the look of the flat ends.
When they are pushed against the PVC window frame how best is it to make that area watertight as I currently have water dripping from condensation in morning. Currently our windows have some sealant rubbed along bottom of frame but this tends to go mouldy over the course of a year even with mopping up etc.
Thanks for any tips.

I had my window boards replaced with MDF boards which have a rounded side. The ends were cut square, and I sanded them to remove the sharp edge.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0

nearly all boards come with flat ends. however some timber merchants will router the three edges for you, at a price.
if you cant find one, then any carpenter will do it for you. at a price.
silicone sealer is the normal way of sealing the boards agin the windows.Get some gorm.0 -
What is the best anti mould sealant out there for between the board and window. I am assuming there will be a very fine gap if I do my job right :-)
Should I prime the boards before attaching then paint once in place and before replastering?
Is there a foolproof way of getting the cuts right on a bay window a I will have to use three boards?
Thanks again for all the help.0 -
You can buy bullnosed boards such as these from Agnew
26 x 219mm Pre-Primed / Pre-Painted Wood Window Board (2x2.4m)
from £28.10
Unless you have a mitre saw with preset angles and a biscuit jointer to strengthen the end grain mitres, I would suggest that you get a carpenter to fit the boards. By no means an easy job.Forgotten but not gone.0
