Help with Delta flight tickets

Hi,

Last year someone posted a link to an offer that Delta had on (£160 flights to new york) I purchased a ticket and am due to fly next week. The only problem is I don't seem to have a ticket! I have an e-mail that is labelled as an "electronic ticket receipt" is that it?!?

On this e-mail it says ""Scan this barcode at a Delta Self-Service Kiosk to access your reservation" but there is no barcode there!!! I know many MSE's booked these flights so I'm hoping someone can help.

I've tried e-mailing Delta but they haven't responded. I just wondered if anyone can help before I try calling them.

Before anyone asks; YES I KNOW I'M PROBABLY BEING STUPID!!!!

It should be on the top of your receipt and itinerary.

Hiya,

The ticket is the actual email Delta's sent you (electronis ticket), but I'm sure mine had a barcode on it.

Anyway, hopefully this will reassure you -when I checked in, my paperwork wasn't looked at - all the lady wanted to see (going and coming back) was my passport, so she could find my details on the system, and the address I was staying in New York.

So don't panic, and have a lovely trip

Have u tried https://www.checkmytrip.com to see if your booking details are there.

Check whether your email system displays images, HTML, etc. Many email systems don't, because of the way that images can be used to assist fraud. However, if you turn on your HTML that may then enable you to find the bar code.

In practice, you will be able to check in with a human being simply by showing your passport, perhaps with your credit card and the number given in the email.

I got 2 emails - 1 confirmation & 1 electonic ticket a couple of days later.

There's definately a barcode on mine.

I can't wait!!!! I've never been before and probably wont go again for ages so I'm really going to make the most of it. I've already got tickets for the Knicks (basketball) and the lion king!

I've done that. I've even forwarded the e-mail to another e-mail account to see if it would work but all that show is the no image sign (litlle red cross). Seems strange. I'll give them a call. Thanks everyone for their help.

There is no need to use a self service kiosk. I just went to the check in counter with the print out. As far as I remember they did not scan the bar code although it was printed on the paper. Sure it will be fine but just give them a call to stop yourself from worrying. Enjoy your trip!
