Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • Yes. In theory, cheques are valid indefinitely, but in practice, banks will refuse to accept them after 6 months have passed, so you will need to bank it promptly.
I am employed as a manager in a financial services institution. My views are entirely my own.
  • How much is it for?
Is there anything written on the cheque saying the cheque is valid for less than 6 months?

Even if the cheque is technically out of date you are still entitled to your money so pay it in or ask the drawer for a new cheque.
