Hoping today will be 3rd NSD in a row. Not long been up as worked a busy night shift last night, and when I got up DD had used car and put petrol in. This means I might get my NSD today.DFW Nerd 1394.

So close to a NSD, so close . . . Until I saw how big the hole in the knee of DD's jeans had grown. But did I buy a new pair, no! I bought a £1.99 iron on patch from amazing, free p&pMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Today we are taking doglet to the salon for his "do" this afternoon. While he's in, OH and I are going for an early tea/late lunch at Dobb!€s and a mooch around.
OMG Jinty .... I was at Dob*bies with DM earlier - we might have walked past each other!:)
We went to the garden shed place near the Park & Ride and then over to Dob's for some lunch (love their food court!).
DM treated me to 2 lovely purple clay plant pots (houseplant ones) which were 1/2 price ... so I just had to buy a couple of new plants for thembut they were a multi-buy discount and DM gave me 1/2 the money
for them.
I also grabbed a bag of bird seed that was reduced so hopefully that will keep the feathered ones fed through until spring if it's mixed with some porriage oats;)
There was the most unbelieveable snow storm when were were there so decided we'd better head back home in case it got worse but it brightened up a bit so made a pit stop at B*Q and I bought a lovely clay pot (outside plants) for £5 and a pack of 15 primroses (£11 in total for both).
Not essential spends in any shape or form but both the house and garden look a bit more cheery with some flowers on show:T
So .... a spendy day but lovely to get out and about and spend some time with DM- garden "shopping" is about the only kind we can do together without bickering (usually my fault as I hate clothes shopping)

Awwww what a sweetpea:) - think I may head for a bath shortly as I'm frozen:( (think it was being outside in the icey wind, potting up the new plants:o)I'm quite jealous of all you who have had a massage. I'm in so much pain at times, I'd love to try one.
Awww hun, is there anywhere near you that might do student nights?
If not, what about starting a "coin pot" and sticking the odd £ away here & there and saving up that way? (It does mount up surprisingly quickly - my garden shed is being saved for this way).
I always feel quilty spending the money on them but as it makes such a difference pain wise, there are many things that I would give up first if it came to it.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

L2B - Spoony will wallop you with those rancid kippers of hers for use of the 'f word
Not a NSD for me either - remembered when I went to bed last night OH had asked me to put lotto on - but forgot so a) wrote it on my hand in the dark to remind me today (quite impressed with my handwriting actually) b) I was thinking of being cheeky and declaring a NSD anyway in lieu that I would have done it yesterday but...
...I have finally (after 2 weeks of having it) sorted out my new phone, downloaded all stuff from the old one and put it back to factory settings to fleabay and set up new one with cover etc. Did get some screen protector things from Amaz0n but they are rubbish, really hard to put on and all bubbly no matter how dust free you try to keep it. Also, the little pull tabs leave sticky marks on the protectorSo I ordered some diff ones from fleabay for 99p ....and a NSD down the drain. Hey ho, there's always tomorrow :A

NSD #7 for me today.
It was a hard one to come by as it has been a really spendy week.
My poor cat was not very well on Monday and a trip to the vet cost nearly £300 for tests and drugs
Thankfully he is home and on the right road to recovery and thankfully he is insured
Also had a yummy lunch out with DS on Wed and a trip with my class on Friday. A busy time.
Stay warm allPAD-ing Since 7/1/11 2012 - £2329.10 2011 - £4760.88 :money:

Tut tut, i will be coming after you with my soggy paintbrush if i hear any more of the F word!!! :rotfl::rotfl: anyway, i reckon trainers for a quid is well worth losing an NSD for!!
Kerri & Freeby - hope both of you have managed to shake off your colds & feel better today?
Big spendy day for me today, i think i am turning into Kerri with my coupons :rotfl: but got onto mission control last night & ended up with tons of coupons for stuff that's in the tatco half price cleaning & laundry stuff, so just couldn't resist. Ended up with 4 lots of flash free, 2 massive bottles of fairy for a quid, 5 bottles of comfort for £1.25, & about 15 squids worth of assorted washing powder/liquid, so with what i already have under the sink, i reckon i have about a years worth of cleaning & laundry stuff now for less than £20
Coupons are seriously addictive!!!!
Just need some cheap loo roll from c0-0p, but ran out of time to do that today as my friend came round (& bought chocolate :j), so have put a tenner aside, will do that tomorrow or Monday & not count it as a spend as long as i don't buy anything else.
*wanders off scratching head as to where all these bargains are going to go..... maybe i could put my bed in the shed????????*
So chuffed with all that i bought the don't tell the midwife book as it was on special, can't wait to snuggle in bed with it now!!February NSD challenge 5/150
