Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to say, please be patient, the front page will be updated and March's thread created soon. Thanks x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hello all, got paid today so mega shop and much parting with the sponduliks with much wailing and gnashing of teeth as I watch the dosh simply fly out of my bank account. However, have withdrawn cash for hairdresser later in the week plus parking fees for a trip I have to take this week as well, so opportunities for one or two NSDs are on the horizon. Will be out a-hunting for that elusive number 12 to reach my target tomorrow.
Well done jinty for organising the band for our end of month celebration hoe-down on Wednesday! Igor is still chasing the pig for the hog roast at present, but we have fixed up a pig trap in the garden so hopefully hogroast will still be on the menu. Just need a wagonload of bread rolls, a vat of coleslaw, a few kilos of butter, loads of ketchup, gallons of mustard, a sack of onions (got to have fried onions with the roast hog slices in the rolls) and of course a hundredweight of chapattis or naans to go with the lurvely sprout curry. Remember if you want baked beans bring your own tin and tin opener! Now, to start peeling those onions......sniff! sniff! Waaahhhh! One life - your life - live it!0 -
Provided I can get home and into bed without spending anything I will have achieved my 15 NSD for feb, and if im really good may even manage 16, possibly 17:eek:
giving up chocolate for lent has definately helped, and its not too difficult but I have to confess there is NO chocolate in the house not even the cereal variety, so DS appears to have given up chocolate for lent as well :rotfl:Jan 13/15 Feb 16/15 March 19/20 April 17/15:D May 0/17

NSD 12 today!! And I hit my first target of 3 in a row so I am having a mini celebration! Still aiming for my 5 in a row though.
And I got my windscreen wiper replaced for free at the local garage, so its a double MSE celebration for me today

Arrrrrggggghhhhh - feeling cheated today....
Had to go to an all day meeting - no mention of lunch was mentioned & most people thought it was bring provided but I was good and took my sandwich with me ..... only to discover there was no fridge:eek: (now I know some of you may have "risked it" but having "tummy troubles" it's just not worth it).
Even worse - there were no tea/coffee or even water supplies provided:eek:
So 1 sandwich & 2 cans of coke were purchased.
Not impressed .....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thanks freeby :A
Hi everyone
Sorry for my prolonged absence, I've had a mega-busy couple of weeks at work at the end of which my wrist decided to go on strike so I've had to stay away from the PC as much as possible.
I'll be back later tonight to start updating the front page and to do yesterday's update. The front page should all be updated by tomorrow night but please be a bit patient, I've got a lot to get through now.
I also wanted to let you all know that I'm taking a break from the NSD thread for a little while and probably won't be on MSE that much either. I'm doing some studying as well as a full-time job and it's all getting a bit much really, I need a break.
See you all later

Pants to the wrist ... hope it's feeling a bit better now.
I totally sympathise with the studying and FT working ... struggled through for 2 1/2 years (finished a year ago next week - where does the time go) and it is hard to fit everything in. I know my "me" time certainly suffered as did reduced trips/time with friends & family.
Wishing you the best with your studies & ..... we'll miss you and look forward to having you back!:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
