  • You can ask them to only send your clubcard vouchers once a year in november - that way you can save them for xmas
  • With Tesco clubcard vouchers, if you don't use them they stay in your account. You can exchange the old ones on line any time. They issue them every quarter so you can't stop them sending them (you can't use the points, only when they are vouchers) but your vouchers build up.

Thanks guys, it all just seems overly bitty to me with them being sent out every quarter when I don't want them! I'll see what happens when I try to get my old ones turned into Johnson's dry cleaning tokens.

Nicky - I saw that about Christmas but didn't think that looked all that straightforward either! Besides I think now is a good time to use them as I have lots of dry cleaning that needs doing!

  • Well I've ordered Johnson's tokens and they are apparently sending them in the post. Only had a Clubcard 2 years so this is my first time using my points!

Bit excited that it'll be £45 of dry cleaning for FREE!

Tesco points though I just don't get - it seems impossible to build them up as they keep sending me little vouchers every so often. I have never used one of these as I wanted to try to build my points up to something reasonable as I don't spend that much money in Tesco. I have logged in online and now have £16 of stored up, unused vouchers (the ones they sent me that I didn't use).

As you can use several vouchers at a time when using them in store, you are still building them up, just in voucher form rather than 'on your card' in the way you do with Nectar.

I wouldn't usually advise using them in store though as they are worth much more with rewards. I know you are using them on dry cleaning this time, which is fab as you would have spent out on it anyway, but also just so you know in future, if there was nothing you wanted, still don't spend them in store as they will sell for much more than their face value on Ebay (most people just say for the winning bidder to contact them and let them know what rewards they want them to get and send them as reward tokens not as the actual vouchers).

  • Hi all,

I've still got a ways to go to get the money in to cover the shortfall in my bills account. Its actually about £235 i've got to find due to buying that present (less than half price) and i had to issue a refund to an eb*y buyer as they didn't receive the item  Which i'll now have to take up with royal mail as its not been delivered back here either :(

But i've made a start with profit of £46.25 calculated for the goodies which had been paid for and were posted today :T Got a few items sold awaiting payment - one i've started a non payment thingy as its been a while :(

I really pushed myself last week and got 100 newly listed items on  50 in the week and then 50 between saturday and sunday :eek::eek: The good thing is though that i have stuff ending each day over the next couple of days so really hoping for sales and that they pay up too!

Gotta say though it did become a really hard slog - i had nothing set aside to sell but just really needed the money so i've listed quite a bit of stuff i'd have happily kept :o Made sure i put it on for a reasonable price though as there was no point letting stuff go for 99p :naughty: - I do of course have alot of 99p bits too - just not stuff worth more as no point chancing it.

Well done to everyone this month and thank you so much for the support here i think i'll be a member of the make £10 a day every month for life now! :D
