-Just had a big thread catch up as not been on for a few days.
Nat - how lovely is your dad! Honestly can't believe your siblings are so blinking selfish, but that is families I suppose. Long since realised all logic goes out of the window when it comes to family!!
Fairy - Glad you got a positive outcome and am sure it is a huge weight lifted now.
Aesop - Thought you seemed a little quieter than usual. Hope you have recovered OK from the tooth and start feeling a bit more back to your normal self soon.
Sweets - Hope little sweet did OK and you are now doing the proud mummy thing!
PLMBL - All I can say is ouch! Hope you are not in too much discomfort as it sounds painful. All happens in such a flash too. Hope you are feeling better soon x
Thanks so much for those who posted SB tips (code alert and video alert), much appreciated. Also thanks for the info on the risk free bingo. Will be looking into that later this weekend and will be sure to use a referral link.
Things still going slow for me. Did manage to make £20 profit on a bingo site (Rogers bingo) that I signed up to ages ago via quidco. The cashback has not tracked and I had to raise a claim. I actually made £30 on a fluke win, but calling it £20 profit to cover my initial deposit incase the cashback does not land. Won't update total until money is in my account.
Also had a single ebay sale and guessing profit to be around £5 but will add when got actual postage costs.
Kids going to granparent's tomorrow night (yay for mum & dad) and am off out to Chester with DH for an afternoon / evening meal and drinks. Looking forward to it!!
Have a good weekend ev1 :beer:0 -
Have a lovely day tomorrow Blue Cow.
as for my tooth, the other tooth that I needed work on, I broke it last saturday. Had first part of root canal done today. Still missing my removed tooth from last week. Hard to eat on that side with no tooth. My own fault, should have found an nhs dentist earlier and had it dealt with earlier.0 -

I do not really need help with washing and dressing. I can manage them myself, although I hate to admit it I do not shower/wash hair every day, 2-3 times a week is what I manage. This is largly down to motivation and time. I have to share what energy I've got over the various things I have to do in a day. It takes me most of the morning to 'get going' , if I add in a shower as well then most of the day has gone. I still do all the cooking. I manage to do the shopping, ironing and change the beds when they need doing. I have an allotment which I go to in summer time. This is very therapeutic for me but I only potter about and usually just once a week. A couple of years ago I did see some improvement, but then I had a relapse and it has been hard to improve again.
Sorry for the long winded reply, I have now forgotten what I set out to say...lol
Oh yes, I meant to say one of the questions on the application form is, Can you walk 100yds? I can walk 100yds but not everyday. I can probably walk up to a mile very slowly but it would take me 2-3 days to recover from this and I would be unable to do anything else that day. The problem is not many people understand the nature of ME and how it affects sufferers.
I know about ME, I don't suffer from it, but I know it is difficult to quantify in the neat little boxes that you are expected to complete.
You would need to complete the form like that, adding in extra information, even though it says just tick yes or no. You have to. with ME, as you have said you need to explain everything. You need to explain that you cannot walk 100yds everyday. That you cannot shower everyday as of how it affects you for the rest of the day.
Give the DA a call on Monday or email them, they maybe able to help.
Good luck hun. I understand how difficult it is. I used to work for the Benefits Agency and dealt with AA and DLA forms first hand.

hi everyone
Good evening everyone! I have just woke up LOL! was obviously exhausted after the appeal - thanks for all your lovely messages about it - it is a completely nuts systemand now they are changing DLA as well - I know they have to do something but it always seems to be the genuine people who lose out when they change things
well done on you'r appeal fairy ,it makes you mad when you see people abusing the system, and the people that need it don't get it .£5 a day challenge april £338 /£150
