Xbox live fifa 12 players stolen

Hello.

My 10 year boy is upset because he says that his xbox live has been "hacked" and players and coins in his team on FIFA 12 'stolen'.

Is this possible and perhaps more importantly are there credit card implications?

He says he was playing in a tournament, player joined and then left taking his players and 15,000 coins.

As you can tell I haven't the foggiest how all this works!

I have checked different web pages and it would seem that the majority of gamers have there profile recovered to another system which is where the hacker seems to get the coins etc.

There have been a few reports of it happening during a match but it doesn't look widespread. Your best bet is to contact EA and then Microsoft for help.

It is more widespread than you think, microsoft always play it down. But only have to read the xbox forums to see thousands of Xbox users have been compromised.

Best thing to do is get in touch with Microsoft and let them know. You may find your boy's xbox account will be suspended while they investigate.
