• Holding Ed in the light.

Got bread in the oven, have tidied floors, about to go round with carpet sweeper (can't be wotsited to get the vac out). Will do bins and dust, then give stairs a going over with a stiff brush and dustpan.

This really does help - it's the commitment that's the thing!

Thanks all for the lovely supportive comments. Have just posted on FB that it's my first batch of bread since the funeral - it's my routine to make all my bread, and it's taken me a while to find the energy to do it.
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

Winchelsea it's lovely to see you posting on the thread. I'm glad you've felt strong enough to make your bread, baby steps for you.

I didn't get all my 6HHC completed. The phone kept interrupting me. I will try and complete it today.

Downstairs is near perfect because we had a visit from the lady that is co-ordinating the Jamie Oliver Course for DS1. He spoke to her with an attitude way beyond his years and I was very proud of him. Pity he was such a nightmare last week.

The washing has been breeding and I have approximately 8 loads to get through before I tackle today's bed (DD1) she's not long been out of it (night shift) and it messed up my routine!

I need to go to Mr T after school pick up and to the bank to pay a cheque in.

Wake up vibes for Ed and prayers to support his family.

I hope everyone has a nice day .

Pip (the dog in my avatar) and I have had a chat and decided we won't worry about a walk today - she does not do the cold and hates her little dog coat. She had a nice walk yesterday so don't feel bad.
Pip, sweetie, what's this about you don't like wearing your coat? It's cold out there, and the forecast says it's going to get colder! What is it, do you worry what it looks like? Have a look at Sidny in his smart winter coat! http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y17/LameWolf/DSC03054.jpg See, he looks good - please try to wear your coat, for Auntie Wolfy. x
Flyladies I need a favour. The boy I told you about is still in a coma, but it is not induced anymore. I need you all with as much energy you can muster to send wake up vibes to him. His name is Ed.
Will do, Dusty. Red candle, with "Wake Up Ed" carved onto it in runes; I'll go and get that underway now.:o

Once that's done, I must start on this little lot - or as much as I can get through:
Tuesday: Lounge + hall 31 Jan12
Dust flat surfaces and pictures
Clean remotes, keyboards, mice, phone
Duster-onna-stick round high areas
Clean behind radiator
Clean window + door glass if needed
Test smoke alarm
I don't list the fireplace separately, because it's a gas fire, and just gets done as I get to it during the dusting.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Thank you all so much for the good vibes.

Done a fair amount of cleaning downstairs and the fire is lit.

I think I'll pop to the post office next with my last ebay sale whilst DS1 is still home with DS3.

Cuppa and paperwork when I get back.

Winchelsea you are doing so well in such a short time, be proud and kind to yourself.
