Touchscreen Laptop

Hi, on the hunt for a touchscreen laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions of a reasonably priced one? All I've found so far is the netbook dell version which is too small. Spec isn't majorly important as it won't be used for anything too intensive, also it needs windows.

    Screen size? Budget?

There are quite a few netboks with touchscrenn, including Samsung, Acer, and many others.

There are sizes 12", 13" 14" etc However as soon as you move out of the netbook size they do get very expensive - Acer (out of stock) is about £600, then there is the Lenovo ThinkPad T400s even more expensive.

why do you want touch screen and a laptop?
would the tablet form not be better if touchscreen is important?

Taking notes with a stylus for one thing with Microsoft Onenote is just one example. There are a lot of desktops that offer touchscreens now. Especially with windows 8 arriving this year with plenty of touch screen features.
Some laptops offer a rotating screen so that it can be used, folded down, like a tablet.
As robmar0se says it really just depends on your budget.
HP pavillon tx2000 is a nice laptop.

I have a motion computing tablet and its great, Just installed windows 7 and it runs really well.

Starts up fast, Added more memory so 2GB now.

Shame their customer support is lacking. Ok it might be a few years old (5 ?) but the response i got when i asked how i was supposed to restore the system was..

" we dont supply the system discs so please go away "

    Great customer service eh.

Seems tablet edition of XP is unavailable, Supposedly install XP SP2 and thats tablet XP.
Thats great except the SD card stops working if you install SP2.

Anyway Win 7 works and i wouldnt buy a comp from them.
