Where did you get if from

I got it from Gameworlddirect.co.uk but although the job they did is good i couldn't reccomend them totally as it states on ther website 5 days delivery and it took 21/2 weeks for them to finally deliver it and by all accounts they are impossible to get hold of one the phone.

probably the wrong thread but debating whether to get the 360 or the wii. I've read so many reviews that the 360 has brilliant graphics but the gameplay on the wii is really better. can anyone confirm this, another plusis that the wii is cheaper. I like shoot up type games and so far it looks as if the 360 is better at that kind of game.

If thats the game you are into then you have to get a 360,i can personally recomend Gears Of War,Rainbow Six Vegas and Lost Planet which are all good and there are a few more i haven't got yet.

Yep, I'm hoping even less, you also get int free-credit & I understand that once you've paid £100, you also recieve 10% cashback from Great Universal! Also, they said the console would be delivered direct from their supplier in 4-6 weeks, it came in under a week!
I also purchased the hard drive from LX Direct, again using a discount code from here, so cost me £45, and now using the core system for LIVE.
    HTH

How do i get that extra 10% off, i used quidco and it was my 1st order so hopefully they took of 20% or something like they say, didnt show the discount on the checkout.....

Ive got one of each. I play on the wii more its just easier to pick up the remote and have a few rounds of tenis or a few games of bowling no thinking just do it and they are alot more fun that sitting twiddleing your thumbs. as the Wii is pretty new there are only a few games out for it moat are just conversions from other systems that make use of the motion sensitive remote to control they can be harder to play like Need for speed carbon is a nightmare the remote doesnt respond very well. where as on the 360 it is a great game,

The 360 is brilliant, graphics etc are awesome but they are about £100 more than a Wii. games are more expensive, some of the extra hardware like the wirelell network adaptor is expensive (included in the wii) you have to buy an xbox live subscription (£40 a year)

I would buy another wii if it died out of warrenty I would proberbly not buy another 360.

It didn't show on mine either, but when my 1st bill arrived, the actual price charged was £175.20

I got this from another thread, and they told me about the extra 10% being available as cashback from GUS once you've paid back £100.

If your a serious gamer then I'd go for the 360 every time. The wii is great fun for about an hour and when you and your mates are drunk playing bowling but long term I'd go for the 360.

The wii sucks. I've had a 360 for nearly a year now and it's fantastic, especially hooked up to a hdtv. The wii is pretty much a gamecube with a fancy controller that you will probably chuck through your hdtv!

If you want your 360 to do things mr Gates had hoped it couldn't, these are good....
