hi again internet freezing on some

hi all posted couple weeks ago trying to connect to low cost holidays and some others, using avast free but some pages not loading freezing internet speed around 7 mg anyone..... not watching sunday night telly....yawn

Avast is a virus protector, not your internet!

Maybe you need to make sure that you don't have any viruses on your pc, or check your router, cables, wireless and make sure that they are all working correctly.

Alternatively maybe the websites are just not running....

using avast anti virus,,,,, internet explorer, website loads then freezes pull down bar not working then only way out is close page and click on bottom page to remove..hope this makes sense. using M/BYTES so no issues there.

Try IE in no add-ons mode to see if an add-on is causing the problem.

i have a few add ons two seem to be avast webrep and one not sure sun micro systems deployment tool kit ? shockwave flash tool kit ? well about 20 in totall add ons

Does it work better in no add-ons mode?

Have you revisited the sites where you were having the problem & did the problem persist whilst in no add-ons mode?
