Credit Transfer?

I'm studying Law at University. I'm in my first semester of my second year. I want to do a Family Law unit with OU as my Uni doesn't offer choices on the degree, and we don't do Family Law.

If I complete this Family Law module with OU, is it possible to have the credits transferred on to my current course?

The OU module is worth 30 points.

Any advice appreciated.

    The answer is 'maybe'.
There's nothing to stop you from doing a family law module as an extra with the OU but whether it'll count towards your current degree is dependent on your university department so you need to speak to your degree tutor.
  • Ah OK. I thought as much.

I just thought, with it being Sunday (and me doing work experience all next week) I won't get an opportunity to call them.
