Wooden flooring - advice for edges please

  • Thanks - that's the closest i could find. They didn't have anything called a Jamb or undercut saw.

    If you want, instead of hiring a saw the Bosch PMF180 is a handy tool for cutting around architrave and skirting, argos have it for £60 at the moment here they call it the bosch all rounder.

    I used it to do my flooring for cutting around door frames and skirting.
    The only problem is if it is a big room I dont know how long the blade would last and they are not cheap.

    Yes he could probably make that work but this (along with a host of other copies of the Fein Multimaster) doesn't have a height adjustment capability for a constantly accurate cut that a proper undercut saw does. If you are not that bothered a 4½ inch angle grinder with a fine blade in it does the job too but that ain't very professional.

    Forgot to mention there are also these handjobbys:

    made by Mr Crain in the US for between £ 20 and £ 25 in the UK (thats double the US price of course :mad:) which might be OK if you've got all week. Oh he has. :D
