I'm looking to purchase a new PSC for myself as I don't currently have a printer at home and its beginning to get annoying.
Usage will be very light - I don't need photos printed just the odd document and web-page.
I do however want the versatility of it being a scanner/ copier at the same time.
As space is limited and I have a netbook (no computer desk as such) wireless capability is a "must have".
The thing that strikes me about inkjet printers in the price of the ink.
Do I go for a cheaper model and pay more for the ink, or vice versa?
So far I have been looking at these:
Canon Pixma MP495 - 2x ink refills around £18 for refurbs

HP Deskkjet 3050a - 2x ink refills around £15 for OEM

any other suggestions or experiences welcome

Just buy a NEW HP 6500 All in One.
Second hand/refurbished/previously knackered/not a careful owner from new - is force economy, your better off just paying a little more for a new one with a 1yr HP Warranty.
Printers are so cheap these days and therefore are not made like they use to be.0
