Hello
I want to replace my current Mira Sport electric shower as the pressure is really bad. I have a gravity fed system with a hot water tank in the airing cupboard adjacent to the bathroom and a cold water tank in the system.
I think I have 2 options, and would be grateful for any advice/recommendations on either.
1. Change to a power shower such as Mira Event XS or Mira Extreme
2. Install a mixer shower and use an external pump in the cupboard
Does anyone know which is likely to give a better pressure? I'm leaning towards option 1 as it is a lot less disruption as I shouldnt need to replace tiles etc, but if I got a bigger improvement with the second option then I would need to think about this.
Grateful for any advice, my head is so confused with all the different types of showers!

No answer for you Lisa82 but some experience. I went for a full on pump solution as part of bathroom refurb. At full power you can get a full body massage as you shower. Downside is that it uses a lot of hot water (even if you turn it down). Make sure you factor in the flow rate to get a rough idea of how much hot water you will use especially should you decide to 'go large'.0

Thanks for that info Chunks. I'm not really sure how much work is involved in changing the pipes etc from an electric to a mixer/power shower which is why I'm a bit stuck. Need to get someone out to have a look, but wanted a better understanding so I am not wasting their time.0
