HELP! Advice on what to do needed

Last year I could not afford to maintain my mortgage payments as I worked part time on a low income, so I rented my house out to a lady on HB. I moved in with my parents. I tried selling the house but could not get the price I wanted.

I went off sick last year June from my teaching asst job due to a bad back. (My back started to play up from April when we moved to a new building and I helped with the removal process) I am still off sick but not very hopeful I can return back to work to do the duties I used to.

My boss has mentioned that perhaps I should give up my job, but I wont give it up voluntarily, now she has said perhaps early retirement from ill health? I don't understand what this entails and whether this is beneficial to me.

At present my tax credits have been cut because I have been off sick for more than 28 wks, so thus I have lost £73 pw from this and I have been on half sick pay since Nov 2011.

I am living on this plus DLA as I have an autistic son and carers but struggling financially as I still pay for all his meals and care etc plus pay my parents money for upkeep

Can someone please tell me what my options are, can I apply for any other benefits whilst off sick to suppliment the lost WTC & half pay? and what would be involved if my boss made me retire early on the grounds of ill health, and how long would this take?

many thanks if you can advice
